David Magid, an alternative energy professional who exerts an outstanding desire to make a change. David has a wide range of knowledge in the fields of both computer and building science and a passionate desire to stay on the leading edge of the renewable energy industry. David has demonstrated his willingness to promote alternative energy through his commitment in obtaining the proper training and passing off his knowledge to other individuals who have the pleasure of working with him.  He has taken both training and certification courses in wind,    solar photovoltaic, solar hot water and geothermal heating and cooling. Mr. Magid is one of our lead eligible Solar Installers with the New York State Research and Energy Development Authority (NYSERDA) and continues to strive toward higher credibility. David has a proven track record of his high success rate when it comes to his experience in selling and installing renewable energy equipment. David has not only successfully sold and installed many renewable energy products such as solar photovoltaic’s, but has also taken the time to successfully educate his customers in the products he is offering.      

Aside from his remarkable love for alternative energy, David also enjoys traveling, motorcycles, fishing, a few good books, movies and spending time with friends & family….

Justin has worked in the construction industry for the past 8 years. Mr. Pietras received his bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College. Justin is from Buffalo, New York and unfortunately is a Buffalo Bills/Sabres Fan. Mr. Pietras has completed a variety of innovative solar energy projects and upgraded homes and business to become more energy efficient. Justin Holds the following certifications as a heating professional, energy auditor from the Building Performance Institutes and holds a certification as a geothermal installer with the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association. Justin also holds numerous manufacture certifications for solar photovoltaics and solar thermal. Justin can be noted for his reliability and has always been known for his willingness to help others.

Geoffrey Katz

 Energy Efficiency Analyst

Geoffrey Katz has worked for You Save Green for the past 5 years. Mr. Katz received his bachelor's degree from Buffalo State College. Geoffrey is certified by the Building Performance Institute to preform the home energy audits in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. Geoffrey is experienced selling and installing energy saving retrofits throughout the home. Geoffrey has experience selling and installing Geothermal heating systems and solar electric systems. Mr. Katz has successfully put hundreds of Long Island homes through the National Grid Air sealing Program as well as the NYSERDA Green Jobs Green New York Program.
