Attic Insulation is our most common installation as a residential application for the State of New York. National Fiber's cellulose insulation is proven to retain heating and cooling in the home better than your traditional fiberglass batting insulation. Cellulose insulation can be installed as a 'down blanket' of insulation, literally keeping all heated and cooled air down. National Grid recommends New York homeowners have at least an R-38 on your top floor attic flat. That requires at least ten inches of blown in cellulose insulation.

You Save Green recommends to Super Insulate with an R-50. We will not have to remove the old insulation. Our blown in cellulose is rated to go right on top of the old stuff! NYSERDA program incentivizes attic insulation up to an R-60.
